Hello family! I haven’t written in a while, nor have I seen most of you in ages, so I thought I’d just say hi. We’re still up in Rexburg. Bryson’s graduating in April, though, so we’ll be moving out of here April 10. Yay! Not that I’m anxious :) Well ok, I am. Five years is long enough to be here. We’re not sure yet where we’re going, but it’s hopefully going to be somewhere in Utah. Salt Lake and Provo are apparently HUGE for Computer Science so we’re thinking that’s our best bet. He doesn’t have a job yet but we’re really hoping he’ll find one soon. It’s kind of a scary place to be in the meantime. We know we’re moving out in less than two months, but we don’t know where we’re going.

Then, four days after he graduates, we’re heading to the Czech Republic as Bryson’s graduation gift. That’s where he served his mission so I’m taking him back. It’s a lot of money for two recently graduated college students who as of right now don’t have a job, but we’ve been saving pretty much since we got married, so I think it will be ok. I’m very excited. Not only do I get to visit the most beautiful city in the world (Prague), I get to see all these sites that Bryson’s been telling me about for three years. We’re staying for two weeks, which isn’t nearly enough time to see everything we want to, but we’ll still have a great time.

Oh yeah, so the place I work is a non-profit organization that sends volunteers to Ecuador to take care of orphans for ten weeks. We’re really struggling right now with the shoddy economy, so if anyone knows anyone over the age of 18 who you think would be really great at that, please send them to our website: www.orphanagesupport.org. We could really use the help. We’re a great program!

So anyway, that’s my status. Like I said, I just wanted to check in and say hi to everyone. Hope everything’s going well for everyone else too!

  1. So glad to hear from you and that you are doing well. You will have to post pics of your vacation. I would love to see them.

  2. Nicole, would you send me your husband’s birth date and where he was born? I noticed I don’t have it in my PAF.

  3. I was glad to hear from you too! And I totally understand being in that “what now?” phase. The first 3 years we were married Jake was in school, so when he finally graduated it was like okay, so now what do we do??

  4. Shirley,

Bryson was born June 13, 1984 (exactly one day after Amy…we thought that was funny) in Boise, ID. Let me know if you need any other information.

  5. Thanks, Nicole. We also are almost at that “What do we do now?” stage. Bill graduates with his masters of accounting degree this December. The company he works for is slated to go out of business sometime this year. We don’t know where we’ll end up either, and at our age, it’s not as much of an adventure as it is at your age!
